The Path of Innovation: Knowledge → Transformation → Breakthrough is a conference about how people and education become the main drivers of innovations in the bioeconomy.

It brings together representatives from education, municipalities and business to seek answers to the question – how to move from knowledge to real transformation in thinking, processes and work organisation that creates breakthroughs in industry and national development.

The conference highlights innovations in education and the role of education in implementing innovations – how learning, research, technology transfer and collaboration with businesses help improve work processes, increase productivity and added value of wood and its products.

At the same time, it poses critical questions: why, despite a strong industry foundation, the pace of innovation often stagnates, and what needs to be done to unleash this potential – in education, research, company daily practices and policy-making.

Looking to the future, the conference outlines a futuristic yet realistic vision for wood products, technologies and wood chemistry that will shape the bioeconomy of the coming decades. Latvia has all the prerequisites to be among Europe's leaders – resources, knowledge and people. This conference is a call to use this potential purposefully so that the forest sector continues to be the backbone of Latvia's economy and a pillar of national welfare.

How knowledge turns into processes, culture and work efficiency.

This section focuses on practical change implementation – in organisations, education, production and office work.

PART III — BREAKTHROUGH

Future vision, bioeconomy and futurism.

The final section looks ahead – to technologies, resources, energy and the role of the wood sector in future economy.

More than 10 industry experts, parallel workshops and in-depth discussions.
