WORKSHOPS IN SCHOOLS ON STEM AND BIOECONOMY
The Association “Latvijas Koks” regularly offers free workshops in schools on wood science, STEM subjects, and bioeconomy. Each lecture is combined with hands-on practical experiments from the Wooden Suitcase (STEM kit) – performed directly in the classroom with students.
How can you apply?
- Through projects (Forest Development Fund, Fonds AUGT, and others) – follow our Facebook page for new calls and announcements.
- Via STEM School Bag – search for “Asociācija Latvijas Koks” in the VIAA catalogue of activities for teachers.
- Company-sponsored workshops – in these cases, we contact schools individually that have received support from one of the partner companies.
